Like any vacation trip, you have to start with packing, taking the dog to the kennel, etc. Our trip to Kauai and Maui is no different. May 3rd at 6:30 a.m. we departed for KCI to find a massive thunderstorm along the way. Flight still on time and off to Vegas for a layover and flight to Kauai on SWA.
3 hours to Vegas, 2 hours in Vegas and 6 hour flight to Kauai. Upon arrival got our bags, Uber to Turo Car and then off to the Hilton Garden Inn north of the airport.

Tried out the Tiki Bar and decided to get Mexican up the road. Back to the hotel for relatively early bedtime.
